Autobiography of a Greek Street Dog
Autobiography of a Greek Street Dog – Gypsy was left with her brother/sister in a cardboard box outside a pet shop after only a few days of life. No one knows who the owner of the puppies’ mother was but at least they were not killed as so many unwanted dogs are on Crete.
An Englishman, David, who had recently arrived on the island, called into the pet shop on an errand for his boss and decided to ‘rescue’ Gypsy.
Gypsy’s world was confined to one of smell and sound for the next five weeks until her eyes caught up with the rest of her.
